REFUND OF UNCLAIMED MONEYS

Section 13(1), Unclaimed Moneys Act 1965 :

• When the registrar satisfied that the applicant is the rightful owner, payment to the applicants will be made from the Consolidated Trust Account or Consolidated Revenue Account.




• Applicant shall convince the UM registrar that he or she is the rightful owners or have the legal rights on that particular UM.




• No times limit on the refund application of the UM




• The registrar has set the guidelines on the refund application of the unclaimed moneys by listed out the documents that has to be produced when making the refund applications. (Please refer this guideline.)
