FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION (FAQ) ABOUT LODGEMENT


  1. How long does the unclaimed money process take?

    The date of submission of the unclaimed moneys latest by March 31 of the following year.


  2. How do you want to know the money transfer process has been approved?

    The Unclaimed Moneys Management Division (BWTD) located at Menara Maybank, Kuala Lumpur will issue a receipt to the entity submitting Unclaimed Money as proof of submission has been processed by post.


  3. What should the entity do if there is a mistake in the Unclaimed Money List (UMA-3) after it is submitted to the Registrar?

    If the submission of the unclaimed moneys has been processed by the Registrar, the entity may submit an application for reclaimed misstatement of the money or the entire surrender. To correct mistakes that occur, entities need to submit a new UMA-3 list. If the submission has not been processed by the Registrar, the entity may request to re-register the UMA-3 register with its payment check for cancellation purposes. New UMA-3 submissions need to be submitted.
